Some people want to do all 50 states as fast as possible. Tick them off, move on. We get it — there’s something satisfying about the challenge.
But that’s not what The Full Fifty is about.
We started this project because we wanted to actually experience the United States — not just pass through it. To spend enough time in each state to eat the food, get a feel for the people, and come home with stories rather than just stamps. To do it properly, at a pace that fits around real life.
We’re Kevin and Caroline, and we’re working through all 50 states together. Not in one epic trip, not on a countdown clock — just one great trip at a time, whenever life allows.
Caroline spent over 20 years working in the travel industry, which means she knows how to plan a trip that actually works — the logistics, the practicalities, the things that can go wrong and how to avoid them. Kevin handles the digital side and writes about the destinations we’ve experienced first hand.
Between us, we’ve put together a site we’d actually want to use ourselves. Trips that fit into one or two weeks. Routes designed around enjoying the journey, not just ticking off miles. Honest advice from people who’ve been there.
We’re not done yet. Not even close. But that’s kind of the point.
